Horse power

What is the theoretical horse power of this configuration? at the crank? at the wheel ?

2.7 case
2.7 P/C 10.5:1
2.7 crank
2.7 S heads 35mm ports, stock springs, retainers
GE 60 cams
Twin plug
Weber 40's, 36mm choke tubes, 160 mains, 170 airs, 36mm intakes
Race gas
7200 RPM limit

Thanks

My 3.0 twin plug is very similar.

I'll guess 10% reduction for displacement from my motor.

At the crank 255 HP.

I think your power will be limited by your 7200 RPM. A better choice for this RPM would be GE-40 cams. I also think you need stiffer valve springs and/or titanium retainers for this RPM and this cam. I'd guess 245 HP with a good exhaust and the RPM/cams you gave. With GE-40's you'd get the same power but more torque at 4k-6k. With the GE-60's I bet you could get to 255 at 7500 RPM.

Ditto. Wrong cams for 7200 RPM limit, If you aren't going the long side of 7500 on a regular basis, the 40s are a much better choice.
