Lapping Compound for Head?

What grit do you use for lapping heads? I have an assortment of clover compund and don't know where to start. I'm thinking of starting with 120 and finishing with 320. Any thoughts?

I use the Timesaver lapping compound 80N fine "yellow label" for soft metals.
