Oil pressure switch leak

I suspect my sender is the source of a small leak.

Do you guys use any sort of sealant in addition to the aluminium sealing ring?

Wayne book mentions teflon thread tape, but I'm not super keen...

I usually find these things leak between the molded plastic and metal crimp on the sender? are you sure its at the threads? If it uses a sealing ring then its not a pipe thread so anything on the threads really wont do much.
