crankshafts and rods
I am cleaning out my garage from storing parts from a long time ago and I have a hope, not a stupid question. I have three cranks and a number of rods that are not with any engine cases. How do I determine what crank is what and the same for the rods? Where do I measure them to find out if they are 2.7, 2.4 or 2.2 rods and/or cranks? All the cranks are 6 bolt for the flywheel.

Crankshaft: measure the stroke, 66mm for 2.0/2.2 70.4mm for 2.4/2.7
Rods: 2.0/2.2 are 130mm center to center, 21.75mm wide at big end, and 61mm dia at big end. 2.4/2.7 are 128, 24, and 56 respectively.

The 2.4/2.7 crank has a larger belly button on the throw of #4 rod, compare it to 2.2 and you ll see it.
