Shroud missing?
There is a gap between the oil cooler and the gray plastic shroud shown in this photo, is there a piece of shroud missing? Or is this normal?

Looks like a rebuilt oil cooler and the top piece was welded in with a little more curve to it and now you have a gap. I'm just guessing from what the picture shows.

The oil cooler was worked on by Pacific oil cooler service the receipt did state that some welding was done. I sent it to them for testing and cleaning. What could I use to fill that gap? Piece of aluminum? The gap is 7mm (1/4").

Don't sweat it-mine is the same.

You can pull up on the aluminum to give you the fill you desire.

Mine has a strip of rubber glued to it to take up the space.
