Solex cams

I have a set of center lube Solex cams I want to install in a motor that is set up for a spray bar. Do I have to modify/block off the end of these cams to keep the oil in the right place?

Good question.
Several years back I had the same one. I had some aluminum plugs made up for the drive ends & froze/hammered them in. The motor has been running for 10 years with no ill effects. I don't *think* it would be a problem to let a bit more oil into the chain boxes but I have no problem storing it in the cams.:D
