Wink crank gear

How do you find out if your crankshaft gear is compatable with your timing gear? New-used crank, old timing gear.

IIRC the odd ball is the 964. All the early stuff matches tooth count and size. The difference is in the 'fit' - 0 and 1 for each gear, so 4 combinations. Wayne has a 'fit' list of the combos to the case 'fit' number in the back of his book.

911 SC 1978-83 & 78-89 turbo, the distributor drive gear runs the dizzy backward (counter clockwise) compared to the others.
