Anyone know how many bolts, nuts and washers are on a engine build?

I want to replace all my bolts nuts and washers for my engine build and I was hoping someone would know the quantity/size of the hardware used, so I can just place an order with Grainger. If not, better start counting. 1, 2, 3, 4.....

Thanks

Pelican's 'Case Hardware Super Kit' is pretty comprehensive. It's not everything, but close, including a lot of very specialized pieces. There's a list of what all it contains if you want to use it as a guide:

Pelican Parts - Product Information: PEL-REBKT-06

I didn't do this, but in retrospect it might have made sense.

I used that kit. It is very nice and covers almost everything that I could possibly have wanted. Very worth it. I did research prior to buying it and if you just want to have general HW for the engine then that's one thing, but for a full split the case rebuild this kit works well.

I too liked the kit I used from our host.

I only have one complaint about the kit. I did not like the quality of the 8mm aluminum flat washers. Much too soft. The aluminum flat washers included with valve cover gasket sets are much more durable than the ones included in the engine rebuild hardware kit.

I ended up using different aluminum flat washers.
