C2T head gaskets

Hi:
I am in the process of engine rebuilding (3.2) and wondered if the C2T head gaskets used in the 3.2 (Protomotive) for lowering compression (for turbo use)need the cylinders modified (machined with a groove) to fit them or just they are "sandwiched" between the cylinder and head with no modification at all.

Anyone with this Protomotive (Stage 2) kit?
