where to machine my flywheel

I want to machine my flywheel to take some pounds off. Where would you all go for this and how much? I'm thinking taking 1/2 pound or 1lb off. This is a street car and has a good bite on the clutch so I'm no too worried about slipping the clutch. Also, how much do you guys think is good for a street car?

Thanks,

-P

Its easier to use a light aluminum pressure plate to remove weight.

Who sells those?

They are the Sachs sport or something like that. Pelican sells them or I might have a used one, pressure plate that is.

For street driving you don't want to use a lightened flywheel.

I suspect you could buy one of these for less than the cost of machining unless you can do that yourself. This will work fine on a street SC (I ran it on mine for years).

In fact, I'd make you a deal, as this is surplus to my needs.
