Rod bolts

Hi guys,has anyone used the 12.9 verbus rod bolts in their 2.7 street engine? And if so have you had any problems?Thanks,T.C.

Grade 12.9 Metric fasteners are specified with a minimum Yield Strength of 165 000psi and a minium Tensile Strength of 185 000psi.

Just a bit less than ARO 2000 series which are in the 215/220 000psi range so can accpet a bit more preload.

Certainly good enough for a stock 911S motor I would think but maybe a bit on the limit for 8000rpm race motors.
