new race motor is in

pretty excited about the new race motor.
7r case.. with 81mm pistons and heavily modified 2.2 heads
flows really nice with the big valves and small stems
going to be a fun ride once its broken in.

Hoping to shed 20lbs from the car with the switch to a mag case.

Brant,

What kind of compression are you running? I see you have twin plugs. What size chokes?

I liked your clutch setup, looks like twin discs.

Nice.

Its a mild compression actually
in the 10's
so far its not fully broke in.
we did some rough dyno time and jetting on our old 34mm venturi's
I didn't have time to put in the 35's and see if they help yet
huge jets... we ran 175 mains, with the IDS auxillary enrichment tubes
(good for another 10 count on the jets at redline)
and its still a bit lean

once we raise the redline, I'll have to increase the jets
later this summer when its broke in, I'll go back to the dyno and try bigger venturi's

thanks for the kind words all
brant
