QSC Gasket
I have a set of cast cylinders "QSC" that I am going tom use on my 2.7. Can anyone tell me what gasket to use on this cylinder. The picture shows the story. The one on the left Alusil has an o ring seal and the one on the right has a flat top.
Any help would be appreciated. ![]() |

No gasket for the QSC cylinder. Seals right up into the head.

No sealer. Head to cylinder sealing surface should be clean and in perfect condition. Buy this I mean the head sealing surface area should be as flat as the top of your new cylinders. Have you had you heads rebuilt and or resurfaced/flycut? When heads are resurfaced it makes the sealing surface perfectly flat and when mated to your new cylinders and torqued down gives you a great seal.
