Color code of engine shroud 1975 2.7l S engine
I've searched the forum for this info, but didnt really get any usable results, other than its not painted but tinted fiber glass.
So if I want to paint my engine shroud, what color code should I use to get it right? Engine is a 911/44.

JMHO,.........
Given how rare that '74 Carrera is and its current value, along with with funky appearance of any painted shroud, might I suggest that you complete the proper restoration by buying a new one? I've seen a lot of painted ones and while sometimes the color is close, it never looks right and detracts from a period-correct or a properly done restoration. New ones from the factory are $388.

Hey Steve
I hear you. The case is this: I'm restoring this engine that came from a 75 S to put in my Carrera while I restore the original matching numbers engine. These restorations take years for me (small kids, Work, etc), so thats why I'm doing the temporary engine trick. This shroud is for the "temporary" engine, and therefore originality is not a big issue. I've also used Carrera tensioners for instance. I talked to my local paint shop today, they're gonna try to match the color and give it a shot.
