930/02 Crank cases
I have a pair of 930/02 crankcases from a Carrera 3 engine which are in good condition.
I am looking to sell them but don't know have to value them so I can list them in the For Sale section. They are, however, located in the UK. |

I just sold one recently and have another on the shelf. PM me for more info. |
I need a carrera 3.0 ign. dist. if somebody could help me out.

I can provide one
PM me with your email for details. |
Is the 930/02 crankcase one that will allow use of a 66mm crank such that a 2.8SS can be built from it?
If so... I am looking for one! I plan to build such an engine down the line and am starting the process of collecting parts. Terry |

The 930/02 is the Al crankcase that takes the early crank (either 2.0/2.2 or 2.4/2.7) and has the spigots for the 95 mm cylinders. When used with the 2.0/2.2 crank and 95 mm cylinders, it makes the 2.8 short stroke. I have a 930/02 crankcase available for sale. PM me for details. |
Because of the popularity of the 2.8SS, these are a desireable item, and should command a premium over the later 930 cases. The alternative is one of Henry Schmidt's billet 66mm cranks with a 9 bolt flywheel attachment, but those are pretty expensive.
