2006 C4S Engine Rebuild
Hi guys, i'm new to this forum. I wish first to excuse myself about my english.
I was to a poor garage named Rivard Competition to make my engine rebuild for my 2006 C4S but I had some problems: they broked some parts removing the engine and the service was very poor. Finally I decided to tow back my car home to get an other place. So I need good place names oversee or not to get my engine there. Thanks to all |
You leave us not knowing where you are, why the secret?

I'm guessing --- but there is/was a company by that name in Quebec (quick google search)
I'd contact Jake at Flat6Innovations. Mike |
Alain,
since Rivard Competiton is in Portneuf, I guess you should be in the Québec city area. Did you try Qué-Bourg Auto? They're authorized Porsche dealers, so they should know the business. Unfortunately, I don't know much about them 'cause I try to service my cars myself (lot cheaper) and they are week-end drivers wich I only own since a few months. I'll have a meeting with their mechanics in two weeks, (oil change excuse to talk to them) There is also Import Expert in Pintendre wich I've been told they're good with german cars but again, can't tell for sure. I don't know much of the Québec City Porsche community yet. I'll keep you informed if I find "the place".:) |
Hi Ocram, sorry for the delay!
Finally, after waht Rivard Competition made to my car and with there very very bad service, I don't know if I can trust mechanics again. I am not impress about them.. really not. I think the best will be to make it myself! I love car, and I wish to learn more on mechanic. I think I am gonna try it myself. I will buy necessary tools and an hydrolic lift for my garage. I will take all the winter to learn and make the job well done, ready for next summer! |
Alain,
You will receive good help here. Please send pictures, it helps us to visualize your situation. And describe what you mean by "rebuild". I did everything to the top of the engine including new rings with the help of the re-builders here. I knew very little beforehand. Welcome! Mark |
