Oil Breather Seal
Hey guys... quick question. What's the consensus on the most appropriate method for installing the oil breather cover?
- Apply Locktite 574 to the seal? - Apply Threebond 1211 to the seal? - Use one of the above sealers but skip the actual seal? Thanks,

I put 574 on both sides of the seal.

Thanks. Had seen a few others suggest that approach as well. Went with it.

Now if we could only keep that oil breather hose from leaking...

I used a light coat of Hylomar on both sides...
And you can keep the oil breather hose from leaking by replacing it with a thick silicone coupler and tightening the hell out of some quality .5" wide band stainless clamps. |
