Engine oil leak - looking for advice

My 84 3.2 is leaking between #4 and #5 cylinders. It appears to be where the cylinder meets the case. First thought is the copper cylinder gasket has busted somehow. Second thought is the o-ring on the case bolt is leaking. Here is a picture.

Looking for your informed opinions on what is most likely the cause. If it is the case bolt, can it be taken out, o-ring replaced, and put back in without any additional disassembly?

Thanks.

I think you have narrowed it down to the two most likely leaks. Unfortunately neither one can be fixed without removing the cylinder. You can learn to live with it (my recommendation), or do at least a top end rebuild.

looks like you have a dilivar stud broken. Pull the lower valve cover and it should fall out at you, the broken part nut and washer

Thanks for the input. I checked all the head studs and they are all intact.

I would clean the engine, this will enable you to precisely locate the leak.

Maks sure youre torqued tight because I have seen Carrera heads loose a couple times in the last year looking like broken studs. Check the top studs too.
