Resurrection, Inspection and Hopefully Upgrades. 911 2.2 T

Hey all,

OK, this is going to be an interesting experience. I have a 2.2 engine that's been sitting outdoors, covered by plastic, under a deck for several years. I have no idea of the condition, but I guess that's the first step. I'm in the process of renovating a garage workshop so while that's going on, I thought I'd start a thread for this little journey.

I guess I'm going to need a compression tester / leakdown tester, and a engine yoke and stand. The stand I can buy locally at a great price. The rest is another story. Hopefully they'll be some stuff online here and possible elsewhere. Of course, a big problem is that I live up in Canada near Lake Simcoe (beautiful countryside).

Thanks in advance for any input and assistance.

Best regards,

Dino
