putting a 3.2 in a '77 targa

Can I use the 3.2 engine sheet metal when putting a 3.2 in my '77 targa?

I bought a 14 pin connector to wire up the starter/alt/engine senders, but now wonder if it would be easier to get and mod a 3.2 harness to suit. Is the starter/alt/engine sender portion of a 3.2 harness independant of the DME stuff?

The 3.2 engine harness is compatable with the 77 body harness. All information wires are in the same position to get everything on the dash info working. Yes it is independent of the DME harness.
The DME harness runs the injectors on the 3.2 engine
On the DME harness you need to know that the fuel pump is run by the brain and the coil wire has to be hot while the engine is cranking.
