Carburetor question(s)

Do PMO carbs take IDA style main jets and air correctors? and......
are 40 PMO's the right choice for a high revving 2.8/2.9 motor or would the 46's be more appropriate.
Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Jets are Webber type. I run 46 mm on a 3.0 with GE 60 cams. Your best choice will be determined by your setup. You need to share;

CR
Cams
Piston type
Head
Ignition system
Fuel
RPM range

More info = better answers.

Tom,

PMO's take Weber IDA idle jets and IDF mains, A/C's, and emulsion tubes.

46's are the right ones for a high-revving engine of that size. Tune the power curve with main venturi sizing.
