Any good reputable 911 Machine Shops on the East Coast?

Does anybody know of any great reputable 911 machine shops in the East? All of Waynes recommendations are on the West side of the country.

Thanks

Machine shop

What do you need done ? I run the engine dept. at JB Racing and we do most everything in house except cam/crank grinding. We are in Fla. just North of Orlando.

Thanks for the replys. I'm sure Vermont is out of the question.

We use Verdon for cases etc, CCR for cranks, either WebCam or Dougherty for cams..And Extreme for heads...

We are training a local machine shop who builds a lot of engines for the import scene to do machine work for us..

In Vermont there was a race team in Vergennes a few years ago that was trying to put together a Le Mans car. Not sure what machine shop they used..

BTW its a 50/50 split with the shops I mentioned, two are east coast, two are west coast...

OK I saw the ultrasonic cleaner at Anchor but what the heck do you put in the cleaner to make the parts look SOOOOO good?

The pro's engines look better than new, many call it a secret I have read the posts about cleaning cases etc. but these look better than new.

How about some hints? Is this aluminum brightener? What chemicals? I do not think warm Simple Green.

PFM,

Those heads would not look like new without undergoing serious cleaning (glass bead blasting). Ultra sonic cleaning alone would not make it that bright. My six (6) cylinder heads look like that when I picked them up from the machine shop. So my first reaction was to ask the shop manager how did they clean it that well? Answer was hours of bead blasting!!!!! Here is one of them.

I don't know what they do to get them so clean. I'm sure Bob can tell you...or maybe he can't. :D
