Using short stacks, need a different lever which one

hello forum,

using on my engine project the short early stacks.

I was replacing the old plastic stacks.
What lever should I use to operate the micro-switch and throttle.

Here some of my photos.

I know Magnesium stacks can be modified to accept the K+N air filters but plastic stacks cannot, or at least that is what I was told when I asked someone in the know.

Here are the 3 different arms that came on production Porsche MFI engines.

Keep in mind that under most circumstances, the micro switch, relay and accompanying solenoid came all be eliminated with little or no adverse driving experience.

Hi Max

here the MFI Höhendose altitude membrane is in interference with the lower K&N plate.

Henry are these lever still available?

yes that is correct, I am loosing cold start noozles,

Micro-switch can be mounted on the magnesuim stacks.

Should I forget about the K&N and go with airhorns instead and add some filters on top?

We still have some early levers but you can modify your existing lever by simply cutting of the flapper valve operating plane and micro switch actuator bolt if you remove that system.

We use the K&N by eliminating the altitude compensator. This simple modification allows for an additional mixture control that is easily accessible and easily reversible. This one has our cold start mechanism, breather for sealed pump and altitude compensator removes as well as the decel solenoid.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1323813660.jpg
