Cam sproket offset question please

Hi There

I am just putting my cam housings and sprokets back on my 993, and I am at the point of working out my offsets.

I have 8.30mm between the crankase face and the end of the layshaft. I have 48.25mm between the crankcase face and the right hand cam sproket face (lefthand not on yet).

I do not know what the distance is between the end of the layshaft and the hidden face of the sproket in there is.

Can anyone please help me with the calculation I have to make? I have looked through the forum but could not find the figures.

Many thanks in advance

Berni

With the 8.3 mm figured in I believe, off the top of my head, to be 51mm.
Bruce
Bentley Spec for a 964 same case as 993
left 98.07 +/- .25mm+ your 8.3
right 43.27 +/- .25mm+ your 8.3
To the outside front surface
My 51mm was close

Tks again
