Auto Lift
Can you guys post some pictures of your garage lifts...
Im looking at a mid-lift sissor jack to aid in the removal of engines and also do some wheel swapping and brake work. but I am also wondering about the 4 corner post lift....is there space enough to take out the motor? What are your experiences?

Lots of threads on lifts with lots of opinions of which one you should get ; scissor, 2 posts, 4 posts, Max Jack and so on. No matter which one you get, it will be best buy after the car.
Here is a few links: Is a Superlift a good one for 911's? joined the scissor lift club!! Bendpak scissor lift in 2 car garage - still room for eng rebuild? Joined the scissor lift owner's club! I need a lift! ![]()

I have a 2 post from American Automotive equipment, I also have a 4 post from them. You could do a motor drop with a 4 post, but it will be tough, a sicisor or 2 post would be much better.

Just got my MaxJax setup over the weekend for an engine rebuild. Well worth the extra couple hundred bucks over a scissor lift.
