Has Anyone Got A 3.0 SC Injection Stripped At Present?

Hi guys, I need some help from someone that has got a 3.0 SC CIS injection stripped.
I need the diameter measurements of the air sensor plate and throttle body shown with the red lines below or even the openings of the black moulded bonnet that connects the two :

I am trying to buy some silicone 90degree hose to fit in place of the black Porsche moulded bonnet so I can turbo the car.

Thanks :)

HI gavin
why don't you just fit the turbo injection manifold and air sensor/metering unit, as you will be blowing out the injectors and the air box joint, I have a SC in bits and if you still require the sizes I will post them up or give me a ring.

Hi Mike,
If you could get me the diameter's that would be great, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks
Gavin

I can help you out if Mike can't get to it. I have an 80 SC CIS sitting on a table, with the air boot already off. It'll take a few hours before I can get to it, but let me know - happy to measure and post the numbers.

127mm on the air flow meter and 80mm on the throttle valve.

Thanks very much for the measurements, I'll try finding some 90 degree silicone elbows reducers with the correct 127mm and 80mm.

Cheers :)

Call Ben @ M&K Mufflers.
I think he has traveled this path before. There is no reason to explore a new path if pioneers have blazed one for you.SmileWavy

I did contact Ben a while ago. He was going to get someone to fab some BAE bonnet style silicone but there wasn't enough interest so it didn't go any further.

I can get a 127mm (5") 90 degree silicone off the shelf but no one seems to do a reducer version, I'll need 5" down to 3".

Think I'll have to contact some Silicone manufacturers and see if they can fab some up for me.

Why not start with a 5" to 4" reducing elbow and simply add a 4" to 3" straight reducing silicone coupler?
