this is the other side, i just ordered locking collars, but dont know how this side is going to fit...

Lock the collar as high as you can get it on that tensoiner.

thats the issue i see, there is no room to even get the collar on:confused:, and timing chain seems to be pretty tight on this side, tighter then passenger side

Sometimes its that way. Turn it over a couple times and see if you ve got a link doubled. Check and make sure your chain rails are bolted properly. If one of the bolts you cant see is under the rail you ll be too short too.
