Is this gear worn out?

I decided to move forward and completly rebuilt my 3.2. During my inspection I found the cam gear, IMS gears and idler gears to be worn differently. Seams like one side of the sprockets are thinner at the top of the tooth then its opposite side. Is this normal? Or should I replace all of them? Picture shows one side is about 3mm and the other side is 4mm. The engine has 115k miles. Any ideas would be helpful. THX

With any sprocket...the definitive test is to place a new chain on it and then hold the ends together gently....and try to "lift" the chain off the sprocket at the point farthest from where you are holding it.
If you can lift the chain more ten a little bit...the sprocket is done.
Also...look carefully at the sprocket...if the teeth have a "pointy" look to them...rather than a slight "flat" to the top of each tooth...then the sprocket is once again...done for.
Finally....if in doubt....replace it....all of it....the drive sprocket...the chain...and the cam sprocket....cheap insurance down the line.
After all...if you use old pieces...you may have to split the case again!!
