3.6 Head gaskets ??

Where to get head gaskets for a `92 3.6 ltr. engine. The CE rings supplied in a gasket and the one's everyone want's to sell me are to tall and not wide enought to fit tightly in the grove cut into the top of the cly. I understand the CE rings supplied/available are for the upgrade to the 89-90 3.6 engines that came with out any head gaskets/sealling material.
Origanly had a grafite like fiberous inbedded material as a seal in the shallow and much wider cly. to head sealing contact area.

Supertec has the graphite gaskets that fit the earlier cylinders.
The are listed in the parts search. 964 104 115 00

FYI: From all my checking around I now believe the CE rings that come in the 964 gasket kits will work just fine. Despite the OD gap in the fit.

Having said that. I do believe the grafite like fibrous imbedded material type available from SUPERTEC PERFORMANCE are superior. Necessary? Over kill? At only $10 each good insurance I guess.

The gaskets are an aluminum matrix sandwiched by multi-layered, heat resistant, graphite infused fibers.

Sounds like lunch for Aliens.
