82 911 valve clearance

Just timed left side cam to 1.52mm. Checked intake clearance and have 1.1 mm checked exhaust clearance and have 2.5 mm is the intake ok or should I try to retard the cam for more clearance. Have read that 1mm is ok. Just wanted another opinion before I time right side cam. Thanks in advance for any advice. This is a stock rebuild 930/16 CIS motor with the only change being .005 taken off of the heads to clean up after broken head studs.

1.1 is enough on the intake side. How did you measure it? If you were at TDC you might not have an accurate measurement.

I started at TDC and rotated ATDC by 5deg each time until i cleared piston.
This was measured using a dial indicator with no rocker clearance.
I know that it is close but i thought that the CIS motors had more clearance than that from the factory? The only minimum clearance that i could find was in Waynes book being 1.5mm but have herd that 1mm is ok.
