What cylinders and pistons?

Hi Guys,

Need some advice on what cylinders & pistons I should purchase.

I need to do something about this:

and this:

I have noticed the part number 964 103 915 22 exists in the Porsche catalog... but I have seen similar looking pistons and cylinders here.
This would be a Mahle parts number of W0133-1597062.

Are these two parts identical?

Best regards,
M

The 964 and 993 look alike but there is a couple point compression difference.
You might think about getting the ones you have recoated, ask EBS for pricing.

Bruce,

Thanks for the advice on recoating... the Mahles with part number W0133-1597062 are supposed to be for the 964.

Are you telling me they are for the 993?

Thanks in advance.

Got a shop to confirm 964 103 915 22 and 964 103 915 25 Porsche Part numbers correspond to Mahle's part number W0133-1597062.

Also learned that the 993 barrels can be used on the 964... but not the pistons.

Now I'm on to the bearings... but first I need to visit my mechanic and have a look at the parts.
