Connecting Rod Bushings to Long?

I recently had my 2.7L connecting rods freshened and the bushings on the small end stick out on each side of the rod about .040". Is this something to be concerned about?

Thanks,
Gerry

I think you'll find that there is no way for the edge of the bushings to hit the pistons given the "slop" on the rod bearing end. If that is the case then there is nothing to worry about.
