993tt turbo scavenge pump
I couldn't figure out how to post the picture from the PET any way does anyone know what part #999 218005 02 is for?
I resealed turbo scavenge pump on my 1998 993TT and found the afore mentioned part missing also that is where the leak I was chasing came from. Its' a screw on the back of the scavenge pump (tail light side) no clue what it's there for but it seems like it "Ts" into the right hand turbo sump line. I put a pan head screw in to seal it just wondering if there is a special depth for it since it carries its' own part #. |

Looks like it was superseded to this 6x16 pan head screw: Pelican Parts - Automotive Parts and Accessories - Porsche & BMW

yes, checked that out. Thank you. Still don't know why there is a hole or threaded galley on the outside of the oil pump.
