Kolbenschmidt main bearings

I'm trying to determine exactly what these bearings are for. They are KS main bearings with #85381610 & KSBmU0.25 on #8 shell and #85382610 & U0.25 on the other shells. I bought them used for 0.25 1st under on the crank/std case. When I try to put #8 in the saddle its very tight, wanted to squeeze the sides together. The others seem to fit the case good but they flex more. I'm hoping they're not for a 0.25 CASE LINE BORE. My old bearings are Glyco I think-#72-2350 stamped 0.25 which ARE 1st under/std. case.
Anybody got a cross reference or info on these numbers.
Thanks in advance, Terry

I guess folks may not have much information on these. You may try their home page here, below on the right side of the page there is an e-mail link that might be helpful.

mic the thickness. should be 0.25 thicker than your old ones if they are for a 1st over case.

John...would that not be .0125 thicker owing to the pair clamping the crank?
.0125 added on each side would give .25 smaller hole.
Or did my brain go nuts?

First off, in my post I meant to say bearing #1-the thrust bearing.

Micing(?) the thickness won't tell me anything, yes it's 0.125 MM thicker but which way? I did talk with a guy in Calif. who had some info on KS bearings and he thinks the 'U' in the part # refers to undersize on the crank. He seem to think they would have an 'O' if they where line bore bearings.

Good new! I got ahold of the seller and he had them in a motor than was 0.25 on the crank with std. case. I bolted mine up and everything is on the money so those #s work.
