Intake seals

Greetings all,
I'm suspecting that I've got leaks in the intake system on my '74 2.7. It has a box stock K tronic. system.
Has anyone compiled a list of all the seals, gaskets, sleeves, etc for this procedure? While I'm there I'm planning to pull all the injectors, soak and refresh those seals as well.
Thanks,
-C

Just take a look at the parts diagram. Our host has one, for the SC I think, but it is basically the same.

Before you start in on this, have you confirmed you have a vacuum leak? One test is to take a propane torch and remove the nozzle. Slip some kind of hose over the tube which held the nozzle. Start the engine, stick the hose end in by various parts of the intake system, and crack the propane open. You are looking to see if the idle speed picks up when the hose tip is here, there, or elsewhere. Should be able to differentiate cracked boots from dried out manifold gaskets from injector leaks.

When you pull your injectors, be sure to have at least a couple of the hard plastic holders which fit (with their own innermost seals) between the injector and the aluminum of the manifold. Sometimes these will come out when you pull the injector, and they can break.

Many thanks for the tips Walt.
My suspicions are based on odd idle settings, lack of vacuum advance @ distributor (advance mechanism works properly) and overall age of the parts in question.
I'll try the propane torch trick.

Check your guides.a more likely culprit........
How many miles sense last overhaul?
If stock copper guides are in there they are SHOT

Guides and valves are fairly recent (within 7k miles) CIS system was removed as a unit at that time and judging by the other work done at the time very little due diligence was performed on anything other than what I was billed for... Hence I suspect injector seals, sleeves, etc. Fortunately I contracted head work directly and they seemed very capable.
