is the wrist pin size for a 2.7 the same as a 2.2?

I am building a 2.2 on a 2.4 7R case and thought I could use a 2.7 crank, rods, etc. but a quick check seems to show the 2.7 wrist pin is bigger than the bore in the 2.2E piston? Recommendations?
