Engine Combo Opinions
 

I'm getting a 2.4 engine that will get installed in a 914. The engine has sat for quite awhile and gone through a couple owners. The passed down information on the internals are this:

70T p &c's
E cams

1969 Factory "S" heads
a. Port size 36X35 38mm intake
b. Valve size 45X39

1972 engine case

Engine right side below shroud: *6123464

I'm looking for opinions on this combination of parts. More interested in torque than top-end HP and the car will be used occasionally at autocross.

Also, based on this list and assuming unmodified components, any idea on what the compression ratio might be? I'm trying to resist the temptation to dig into it. ;)

Oh, likely this will end up with motorcycle throttle bodies and MegaSquirt.
