Head Stud Retaining Compound?
 
Can someone recommend a head stud retaining compound? The original spec product is loctite 649 but this is not available anymore.

Stud thread lock
 
The red Loctite should do the job.

I used Permatex Red thread locker. AFAIK it's pretty much the same thing, and it's readily available at your Friendly Local Auto Parts Store.

Thanks. I have the red loctite. I wonder why Porsche specifies a 'retaining compound' instead of a threadlocker? They usually have a reason for such differences.
