86 911 carrera door locking mechanism
 

How do you remove the driver's side door locking mechanism, from a 86 911 carrera. I have the door panel off.i need to remove the mechanism inside the door. not the door handle on the outside. i hope someone knows what i'm referring to.

Art... you might not get many replies for door info in this section of the Forum. It's the engine rebuild area.

The photo below is from an '80. May or may not be the same as '86 --- I don't know.

If this is what you are referring to... I can help... but perhaps moving the dialogue out of the engine rebuild arena would be in order.
