GE 60 Cams on a 2.2T
Anybody know if I am likely to have enough piston to valve clearance with a set of GE 60 cams on a 2.2T motor?

Rob,
T engines have cast pistons and shouldn't be revved beyond 6600 RPM for reliability. You don't quite have the valve clearance and I'd not machine the current pockets any further. If you want to use GE-60 cams, I would use either Mahle 2.2S P/C's or Nickies, to suit. You will also need "S"-spec heads, otherwise those cams are a waste. ![]()

You need waaaaay more compression, to boot. That much overlap wants 10+ to 1.
