Engine Rebuild shop in Long Island NY
Does anyone know of a reputable Porsche machine shop for a Porsche 911 3.2 (1986) hearing nightmares about several machine shops.
|
The only one we use in the Northeast is Verden Tool in Dover, New Jersey. The pros have carefully cultivated them for a couple decades. What precisely do you need?

I need a shop that will polish the heads, polish the crank shaft and balance( rods pistons etc.)

Heads = Anchor Atlantic Enterprises

Verden can handle certainly. Static balance stuff = Verden. We don't really bother with dynamic balance like the V-8 crowd, you can do a lot yourself by weight matching individual components with an inexpensive balance. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/911-engine-rebuilding-forum/363493-bored-youll-think-about-stroking-when-you-see-these-rods.html Good luck and have fun! |
Certainly have the heads rebuilt but don't modify them. 3.2 heads already flow enough for 300hp.
