Cylinder base gaskets for setting deck height on 3.5L engine

Hi,

I'm looking for some help finding the right cylinder base gaskets for my 3.5L engine (3.2 engine with 100mm pistons & cylinders. I didn't originally build the engine but I'm doing a complete rebuild on it. I checked the deck height and it measured .015" (.38mm). I'm thinking I need a .5mm shim to get it close to 1mm. Any idea where i can source one? The shims that came with the rebuild kit are too small and won't slip over the cyl barrels. The barrel skirt diameter measure 4.117 (105mm). For reference I have a used cylinder from a 964 and that skirt measures 4.210 diameter.
I'm puzzled on the pistons and cylinders that the engine had installed. I thought they were either from a 964 or 993. They don't look like they came from either( no sealing ring where the cylinder mates up to the case. No head gasket like the later 964 and 993's, and as I stated before the different size skirt. I'm guessing this set was made specifically to convert 3.2 up to 3.5L but not sure.

Thanks,

Rich

Give EBS Racing or Supertec Performance a call. They can source them for you no problem.
