Excellent CIS Information & Troubleshooting Resource

Hi All,

In my quest to sort out the CIS system on my 1975 2.7L 911S, I have been scouring the Pelican forums and world wide web alike. I found an invaluable resource that I thought I would share with my fellow Pelicans. Hopefully this will help someone else as much as it has helped me. Not only does Jim of Jim's Basement Workshop give a thorough description of the history and design evolution of the system, but he has also found or created some amazing diagrams for fuel lines, vacuum hoses, etc....These are extremely helpful if mice chewed through all the rubber in your engine compartment and don't know what goes where. Additionally, the component descriptions, troubleshooting resources, and technical data have given me a much stronger grasp on how this system works. Even if you are familiar with the Bosch CIS, this site provides some very interesting information and is worth taking a look at.

My project just went from zero to sixty in three seconds thanks to this site:
911 CIS Primer - Index

Enjoy!
