I have almost all the parts to do this. I have been getting them slowly.

I am having second thoughts. Will the 993 components really give me much of an improvement, or is this for 10hp and a headache? Is my cam (mild) going to make it worth while??

I have started assembly, but not sure I should continue, perhaps restore the 964 parts???

Maybe I have made an incorrect assumption.

He was not sure that the 1995 993 had 43 mm intake port. I see that Bill V has it on one of his posts - but it was far vario ram motor.

All 964 have 415mm intake and 38mm exhaust ports
993 43/39mm ports except 993RS/Cup and RSR 46/42mm, 993t is 49/42.5mm

Thanks Bill!

After talking with Steve Wong, who has dyno tested many 964 and 993 engines, he believes that both motors will test relatively similar (252 -256rwhp). This means that I have been buying parts that I do not need. At least not all of them.
