throttle bobys
Hi
what is the best way/option to go if i want to put individual throttle body's on my 911sc? |
Search the forum ( itb) there are plenty to choose from.
Good luck |
"throttle bobys"
Are they the English version? Lots of Options out there: PMO Jenvey Hargett Precision Other that make kits using mainly Jenvey ITB's" Rothsport 9M |
HeHe!
sorry i ment ''throttle body'' will have a look at above mentioned options and give an update |
throttle bodys aint cheap! but so nice
|
Rothsport make a great setup that is designed for the 911 spec series which I believe is based on SC engines. The only problem they are very expensive and of course you also need an aftermarket ECU to make it all work.
|
2001 (or so) Suzuki GSX-R750 individual units. Set of 4 for $100. So need to buy 2 sets. 42mm inner diameter at throttle plate. Takes a bit of effort to convert but they are very cheap, very light, and very effective.
|
Will have a look at Rothsport and see what direction to go! I have a nice aftermarket ECU system,
So I am 1 step closer |
Will also check out the GSXR ones out! Will give an update if I find something
|
Triumph Triple itb's ;) ...less wastage, lol
|
I find the perfect throttle body package! And it includes the ECU system and easy to install!
Will update with pic when I received it,TROPHY you will like it |
Dzug???

Do Tell....
|
|
Almost done!
|
That looks great, who makes it?
|
Yeah, come on- tell us something good! :)
|
Will give all detail on everything soon, just want to fit filters and dyno
|
We have used Jenvey and PMO.
Jenvey have a straight intake manifold, PMO uses a Weber style intake. Jenvey a pain to balance, PMO easy as pie. Jenvey requires some adaptation as they were designed for a cable throttle, but it is easy to configure a rod set up or spend $$$$ on the Rothsport linkage. We seem to make more power with the Jenveys... PMO have the classic weber look.... I have another set at the shop I will post pics of because I can't tell who made them. They are interesting but have a rather oddball linkage set up that will need some work. We plan to use them on a 2.8.... Cheers |
Boy would I like to throttle these boobies.:D

Very sanitary install, especially for a newbie, but this is beginning to feel like a build up to a commercial.
