I think my case is cracked

I am about 80% through my rebuild and noticed some oil drip on the bottom of my case. I first thought it was just from my oiling the tensioners so I looked real close and I think I found a hairline crack in the bottom of the case that goes through the case bolt.
Can this be welded? can i run it like it is. This is a late 1983 case without the sump plate. All suggestions appreciated.

false alarm and my aplogize.

This morning I cleaned the area and using a magnifying class looked. It is a casting mark. I assume the machined area next to it was to clean up the casting line. I am breathing easier.
