2.4 Piston and Cylinder options?

I'm starting the tear down of the wifes 73.5 2.4T engine for her Targa and found the cylinders scored and one with rust damage (engine sat for at least a decade or more)

What are the current opinions on AA or QSC piston and cylinder sets, vs having the original steel cylinders bored out and use JE pistons.

Engine is the half year only 73.5 CIS, and we are trying to maintain original appearance (thus no carb conversion)

Thanks,

If you are interested in replacement 84 mm cast cylinders let me know

Looks like we are going to bore our original cylinders and install JE's.

Consensus is to use a set of 75-77 CIS cams also. Just happen to have a set :)

Thanks for the help guys!

Is there any issues from the different shape of the cis piston domes compared to the JE dome shape?
I notice that from the cis through the motronic that the piston dome shape changed quite a bit from the carburated and mfi style that JE uses.
