Case through bolts

I think I have a leaking upper case through bolt on my 993tt motor. Does anyone know if it is possible to replace the seals and re-torque the bolts w/o taking the cylinders off? My guess is that it is not.

Thanks
Ken

Cylinders are mostly in the way. It's the heads that actually get in the way the most.

Some good pictures of thru bolt proximity to cylinders and the head in this topic

Nossir,...the 3.6 motor requires cylinder removal to gain access to the through-bolts.

BTDT, many many many times.
