3.2L head valvetrain component weights for kinetic static analysis

Does anyone know the weight of the rocker, stock valve spring, valve, valve retainers, and stock intake valve? I'm guessing it's right around 310-320g all in but I would like to be sure.

Trying to run a more exacting static analysis for valve spring force requirements in NM for myself here, running gray-ish peak acceleration figures to give me an idea. I just cannot see how some 280lbs at the nose is needed with these beefy Eibach springs.

280lbs-ish at the nose seems high doesn't it? Even Cosworth DFV engines turning 11-12k RPM were running quite that tight, granted they didn't have a huge amount of weight to control, something like 200g per valve if I remember right.

Rocker 134.4 to 137.2g
Intake valve 117.8g
Keeper pair 3g
Spring 80.8g

Rockers were different dependent on the manufacture.

thank you!

This is a bit heavier than I initially thought. Including a standard 25g spring retainer we're talking about 363g or thereabouts. For a non-matriculated type analysis like this I would cut the spring weight in half, so call it 323g. For a typical DC43 type cam with nearly half an inch of lift and what I'm sure is a fairly hefty acceleration rate, I'm coming up with 104NM seat force (77lbs) and 341NM (252lbs) at 7500rpm, add 5-10% for the stasis fudge factors and it appears Eibach actually did a great job with those springs. I remain shocked though, seems like a lot. thanks again

I included the the top spring retainer in with the spring weight, figured all moving parts.

Springs 61.5g
Top retainer 19.3

Sorry should have broken them out separate

OK thank you. That knocks it down about 10lbs over the nose.
