arp rod bolts??
can i use arp rod bolts in my stock 79sc rods, i see in some post guys are says i had my rods machined for arp bolts? the arp catalog has a part # for sc rods , so whats up.

You should always have rods resized with new ARP rod bolts. If your feeling frisky then you can install ARP rod bolts when the rods are out of the engine, torque rod bolts, rec. stretch gauge, then measure the rod big end for concentricity.

I have a set of ARP bolts being fitted to my SC rods now. The rods should have their big end resized after install to ensure they are completely concentric.

Just got a set for my 79 sc engine as well, but if it's a stock engine then new stock bolts/nuts are good enough.
